The first foreign award of the congress was for Ms. Lee, a prominent chemistry researcher and university professor from Thailand.
The second award was granted to Dr. Sudeh Ghafouri, a medical genetics professor from Iran.
Ms. Elina, a prominent Russian researcher gained the 3rd prize of the congress and Iranian scientist Zahra Emam Jomeh was the 4th lady who was praised in the congress.
Ms. Maria Beatriz Yunnes, an influential lady from Argentina was the 5th praised and awarded woman.
Also, Ms. Mozhgan Zandi, who has written several articles in chemistry and polymers fields from Iran was the sixth praised prize winner.
The last award, too, was for Ms. Pen Abe Shiami from China.
The wife of the Armenian prime minister, the wife of Burkina Faso prime minister, the first lady of Kyrgyzstan, the first lady of Serbia, and the first lady of Iran Jamileh Sadat Allamalhoda, were requested to stand on the scene to donate the awards, and Zeinab Nasrallah, the daughter of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of the Lebanese Hezbollah was the special guest of the ceremony.
The 1st World's Influential Women Congress held in Tehran Azadi Parsian Hotel in the presence of women from over 90 countries, opened by Vice President for Women's Affairs Ensiyeh Khazali began on January 19th.
Also present on behalf of the hosts of the congress held on Thursday with 300 foreign guests, there was science faculty member of Martyr Beheshti University Jamileh Sadat Allamalhoda.
The foreign guests of the event were from China, Australia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Cameron, Serbia, Armenia, Sweden, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Algeria, South Africa, Lebanon, Syria, Russia, and... including 70 female politicians, such as ministers, vice presidents, and parliament members, who had come to witness the status of Iranian women free from western media's negative anti-Iran propagations and reflect it in their own countries.
