Berimani went on to say that about 500 people were screened for autism spectrum disorders in the screening program, adding that 189 cases of autism were diagnosed and referred to centers for educational and rehabilitation services.
She also explained about the art therapy programs and said: "In total, we cover 1533 centers in relation to the art therapy programs that we serve in day and night centers." 3,200 experts have been trained to provide art therapy.
Berimani also mentioned the holding of four regional theater festivals for people with disabilities and a national exhibition of virtual paintings as one of the other programs in 2020. Regarding the provision of rehabilitation equipment for people with disabilities, she said that in 2020, we were able to provide 122,000 pieces of equipment.
