Ali Bagheri Kani, the Secretary of the High Council for Human Rights and the Deputy of International Affairs to the Judiciary wrote a letter to Jeppe Tranholm-Mikkelsen, the Secretary-General of the Council of the European Union, and criticized the irresponsibility for violations of the rights of the Iranian people by the Council members.

Listing some of the inhumane measures adopted by European governments, including the cessation of cooperation of Germany with Armita Teb Novin Blood Transfusion Company, failure to provide services to Iranian passengers in Sweden and Spain airports, failure to provide Piamine lotion by the French, cessation of cooperation of Denmark with Ilya Darman in the field of medical equipment and medicine are clear examples of crimes against humanity and called on the Secretary General of the Europian Union to prevent the continuation of this violation of the rights of the Iranians.

 

He also reminded the violation of the rights of Iranian citizens in EU member states, including Mehdi Kiasti (in the Netherlands), Musa Bashtani (in Warsaw), Sajjad Shahidian (in the UK), Behzad Pourghanad (in Germany), Davoodzadeh Loloui (in Denmark), Jalaluddin Ruhollah Nejad (in France), Mohammad Boroujerdi (in Denmark), Hamid Nouri (in Sweden) and Behnam Bahrami Taghanki (in Switzerland) pointed out that issues such as cremation, illegal and violent arrests, arbitrary detention and disappearances the mentioned individuals have dealt with.

 

Bagheri Kani condemned the inaction of the Council of the European Union in response to the reproduction of medieval rules and regulations by European governments and the deprivation of Iranian citizens of continuing their studies in the scientific and academic authorities of the EU countries and the He also stressed the need to ensure the rights of Iranian prisoners detained in Europe need for the EU Council to cooperate with the Special Rapporteur on the situation of Iranian prisoners.

Addressing the Secretary General of the Council of the European Union, the Secretary of the High Council for Human Rights noted that in order to document and uncover the facts of the violation of the right to life of these innocent children, as the first step to bring to justice those violating the fundamental rights of the Iranian people, the Council of the EU to cooperate with the special representative of the HCHR on the issue of the negative impact of the imposition and implementation of sanctions on the human rights and to force European governments to cooperate with the mentioned special representative.

 

Condemning the indifference of the Council of the European Union to the approach of some European governments, in particular the Swedish government's tricks in promoting and spreading terrorism, he criticized the silence with respect to US regime's state terrorism, including the assassination of Martyr Soleimani and reminded the union that in line with its human rights slogans, these crimes should be recognized as acts of terrorism and that European governments should cooperate with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s judiciary to discover the truth.
