On the occasion of Imam Ali’s birthday, a charity was held during which one billion and 150 thousand toman was collected for the release of imprisoned fathers convicted to financial crimes, Bureau of Prisons announced.
Following the teamwork done by Bureau of Prisons, the Islamic Republic Radio and Television Organization, a number of Al-Zahra University students and Hemmat Charity, this event was held in order for imprisoned fathers to be released.
Since the beginning of this week, fourteen radio channels have also been campaigning through cyberspace and posters to raise public donations.
In this regard, during the meetings held by the Radio and Television Organization and the Bureau of Prisons, it was decided that prisoners with less financial crimes should be given priority over their release.
The purpose of a father's release is to help reduce problems and harm in a family, so true happiness will be conveyed to the community and families.
