Hassan Babaei said that the electronic proceedings have been implemented in Tehran’s prisons correctional centers, training, vocational training and occupational therapy camps.
“So far, 74 rooms have been equipped in this regard and the penitentiaries of Greater Tehran including Ghezel Hesar, Evin, Rajai Shahr, Women Prison in Varamin, Damavand”, he added.
He also said that the establishment of videoconferencing, sending prisoners to court hearings is not necessary and this has reduced the length of trials.
