In a meeting with the family of the martyr "Norik Mahmoudian", an Armenian martyr, Bagheri Kani said that the martyrs of the Armenian community, as a part of the Iranian society, took a step towards the dignity and security of Iran and sacrificed their lives.

 

He stated that the Armenian community has always stood by the side of the Iranian nation in joys and hardships, adding that the martyrs of the Armenian community, as part of the Iranian community, have taken steps towards the dignity and security of Iran and their sacrifices are still tangible.

 

Mentioning the great contribution of the martyrs' wives in the mission and the role of the martyrs on the battlefields, the Deputy of International Affairs to the Judiciary stressed that the wives of the martyrs have a serious duty, especially this precious martyr who endured a lot of pain and suffering caused by the war. You stood up for the defense of the country and the protection of the lives, property and honor of the people and the consolidation of a strong, powerful, proud and powerful Iran, Bagheri Kani addressed the martyr’s wife.

 

“The patience and courage of the mothers and wives of the martyrs have made us able to fulfill the mission of the martyrs adding that looing after this dear veteran requires responsible and selfless struggle”.

 

 

The Secretary of HCHR added that we must follow the path of the martyrs in protecting the homeland, culture and civilization of Iran and come out of the divine test proud just like the martyrs.

 

The meeting was attended by two representatives of the Armenian community, Robert Biglerian, a representative of the Southern Armenians, and Ara Shahverdian, a representative of the Armenian Christians of northern Iran in the Parliament, as well as Komitas Qarakhanian, a representative of the Armenian Archbishop. "Even though I was my husband's nurse, he was my back-up and I did not feel pain and suffering during these years because the love and affection between us had caused a lot of love," Martyr Mahmoudian’s wife said.

 

This precious lady, who had placed the picture of Imam Khomeini in the corner of the Norik photo frame said that this was the feeling of those days of the Armenian youth of the country who fought for a homeland under the obedience of a leader. This photo of Imam was in Norik's wallet. One day a relative asked him to give him his wallet as a gift. Norik said in the same kind language: I will give the wallet, but not the picture of the Imam!

 

In this meeting, a commemorative plaque was presented by Bagheri kani to the wife of Martyr Mahmoudian.

 

Also,the book "The 8-Year Imposed War and the Armenians of Iran" was presented by the wife of Martyr Mahmoudian to the Secretary of the High Council for Human Rights.
