One of the perpetrators of Birak Mountain crime which led to the martyrdom of Morteza Mohammadbagheri and Mohammad Mohammadi Soleimani, was executed by hanging in Sistan and Baluchestan prison today morning.
On April 9, 2015, as two IRGC personnel were walking down Birak Mountain in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, they were shot dead by unknown terrorists.
After investigations into the crime, few months later, Abdolhamid Mirbalouchezhi who was one of the main members of a terrorist group, was arrested in relation to the crime committed.
During the due process of law since 2015, in addition to his key role in this crime, he also confessed to cooperation with anti-Iran groups and his case was sent to Zahedan Islamic Revolution Court where he was sentenced to death. The Supreme Court also approved the mentioned verdict and he was executed by hanging in the prison today morning.
