The special Committee on Ensuring Citizens’ Rights was assigned by Mazandaran Judiciary Chief to invstigate the issue and hear the compliant raised by the mentioned draftee.
Based on reports, during a three-hour hearing session, the draftee explained the reasons for his complaint and after the judge elaborated on the case, the mentioned magistrate apologized to the young man which led to his refraining from the compliant.
At the end of the session, Mazandaram Judiciary Chief stressed on respecting and ensuring individuals’ human dignity which is to be protected by the Judiciary staff. Ensuring human dignity needs to be institutionalized in the Judiciary and it should be offered to lawyers, clients, draftees, accused persons and their families during all stages of judicial procedures, he added.
