The Judiciary chief at Shoot County said that considering the judicial recommendation made by the Supreme Leader and the instructions issued by the Head of the Judiciary, three persons accused of disturbing public order were made to provide free public services instead of doing their time for three years in prison, ISNA news agency reported.
The mentioned services include cleaning roads between cities to counties of the province three days a week for three months which are supervised by the executive judge and such services are considered as the substitute punishments for imprisonment, he said.
Abbasnejad also mentioned that studies have proved that punishments like imprisonment have been predicted for security and high-level criminals and those who have committed wrong acts unintentionally could make up for their fault by proving pubic services.
