In a radio interview broadcast on Wednesday afternoon, the Deputy of International Affairs to the Judiciary stressed the importance of public rights and said that ensuring public rights is not merely a motto but has become a strategy followed by the judicial system.
He also mentioned the differences in approaches towards human rights between the western society and the Iranian society, saying that values such as family and respecting the elderly are of the standards which distinguish the Islamic Iran from western societies.
“Although western countries claim to be human rights advocates, as they are confronted with a different lifestyle in other societies, they resort to cultural dictatorship under the pretext of the universality of human rights so that they could impose their own lifestyle to the mentioned societies”, Bagheri added.
On the importance of public rights, the Secretary of High Council for Human Rights said that the judicial system has a duty to make sure about health of the governmental mechanisms and also ensuring public rights is a strategy which is followed seriously by the judicial system.
With respect to the cruel sanctions imposed on Iran, Bagheri said that Canada, Sweden and other certain European countries are the administrators of the US illegal sanctions despite of the fact that the mentioned countries consider themselves as human rights advocates; they even have not shown any mercy for innocent Iranian children with special diseases. They are in fact accomplices in the crimes committed by the US against the Iranian nation, he added.
