Mentioning the ongoing US violation of international regulations, Bagheri said that the harassment of the Iranian passenger plane by the US terrorist army is a violation of non-military flight freedoms and also a violation of fundamental principles of international human rights.
The Secretary of High Council for Human Rights also said that this illegal incident is not the first international wrongful act committed by the US and the assassination of General Soleimani in Baghdad in January 2019, the missile attack carried out by the US warship against the Iranian passenger plane over the Persian Gulf in 1988 and also tracking and disturbing the Iranian passenger plane in May 2017 all indicate that the systematic violation of aviation security has become a normal routine for the US criminal regime.
"International bodies, particularly those who claim to safeguard international peace and security are faced with a crucial test now, for, their silence with regard to lives of humans and their rights and also the violation of international regulation will not only make the US regime bolder but also will raise doubts on the nature of these international bodies", he added.
Bagheri also said that the Judiciary is determined to apply all domestic capacities including "Law Against US Terrorist and Adventurous Measures in the Region" in order to prosecute all persons involved in the harassment of the Iranian passenger plane and will put the prosecution of those who violate the rights the public on its agenda.
