In the name of God
The 8th of August marks the day that is named after the martyr Mahmoud Saremi, as Journalist Day. This day commemorates the efforts of journalists who have the important mission of raising awareness and providing information with trust, reflecting facts, events, and being the eyes, ears, and voice of society.
Undoubtedly, today, in the age of communications and the activity of news agencies and the immediate exchange of information in cyberspace, the mission and responsibility of writers and media owners in promoting public opinion has become more important. Media members certainly bring dynamism and increased awareness to society by reflecting important news and hopeful events in a timely manner.
While appreciating and thanking the efforts of the writers and thinkers, the unsung fighters, and the country's media, I congratulate these dear ones and their honorable families, especially the families of the martyrs of the news field, on this day, and I wish their increasing success and high status.
