Legal pursuit of the criminal aggression by the Zionist regime against Iran was among the key issues raised during the July 15, 2025 meeting between senior judicial officials and heads of provincial justice departments with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. In that meeting, the Leader emphasized the need for legal action to be taken both domestically and internationally in response to the aggression.
The Head of the Judiciary, during the same meeting, stated that effective legal measures are being undertaken against the criminal Zionist regime in the International Criminal Court (ICC), in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council.
In this context, Nasser Seraj, Deputy Chief of International Affairs of the Judiciary and Secretary of the High Council for Human Rights, explained in an interview with Mizan that since the beginning of the Zionist regime’s brutal 12-day offensive, comprehensive efforts have been underway to condemn the regime and are still ongoing.
Seraj added: “In just one case, the crimes of the Zionist regime were communicated to more than 150 countries.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Secretary of the High Council for Human Rights pointed to institutional collaboration on the matter, stating: “Full coordination exists among the relevant bodies, including the Office of the Prosecutor-General, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Supreme National Security Council.”
