Head of Judiciary: Expedite proceedings related to the Zionist regime

  • Head of Judiciary: Expedite proceedings related to the Zionist regime

The Head of the Judiciary stated: “Diligent pursuit of recent crimes against the Iranian nation in domestic and international courts, decisive confrontation with all forms of corruption, addressing the grievances of all individuals and restoring the full rights of the oppressed, and expanding justice are among the foremost demands of the Supreme Leader from the Judiciary. It is our duty and obligation to diligently and actively strive for the full and comprehensive realization of these demands.”

Mohseni Ejei, in a seasonal meeting of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary with heads of provincial justice departments and prosecutors, referred to the honor of meeting with the Supreme Leader. He stated: “We are immensely grateful to God Almighty for granting us the opportunity to meet the rightful representative of the Imam Zaman (may God hasten his reappearance). We were greatly enriched by the Supreme Leader’s remarks during yesterday’s meeting and hope to exert even more effort in implementing his directives, with God's help.”

The Judiciary chief said: “The Supreme Leader’s guidance serves as a beacon for us in the Judiciary, and we must all keep his directives at the forefront of our actions.”

He reiterated: “Diligent pursuit of recent crimes against the Iranian nation in domestic and international courts, decisive confrontation with all forms of corruption, addressing the grievances of all people, and securing justice for the oppressed are among the Supreme Leader’s most pressing demands from us. It is imperative that we double our efforts to fulfill these duties.”

During the meeting, the Judiciary head also paid tribute to the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, the eight-year Sacred Defense, and the recent 12-day imposed war—particularly the martyr commanders, scientists, and public servants like the late President Raisi. He emphasized that keeping the memory of martyrs alive is a powerful spiritual element guiding the elevation of the system.

Mohseni Ejei added: “We are currently facing the most hostile enemies of God and humanity. This is both challenging and sweet; to humiliate these wicked enemies (which will certainly happen) is a unique source of satisfaction. In the recent 12-day war, due to the leadership of the Supreme Leader, the military and security might of the country, and the extraordinary unity of the people, the enemies—led by the Zionist regime and the U.S.—failed to achieve any of their objectives. On the contrary, the strength of the Iranian nation and system increased, and even the enemies inadvertently expressed admiration.”

He continued: “During the recent imposed war, the enemy deliberately targeted specific centers in hopes of provoking riots and unrest. But their scheme failed; people from all sectors of society—despite differing opinions—stood united in defense of the Islamic Republic and following the leadership.”

He stressed: “Gratitude for the blessing of wise leadership and such an insightful, unified people demands that we, as officials, feel God’s presence in every aspect of our lives, especially in public and professional duties, and work tirelessly in serving the Islamic system and the people.”

The Judiciary chief emphasized: “We, as public servants, must treat all people who approach the judiciary with respect. We must ensure judicial and legal services are provided promptly, accurately, and affordably. Any shortcomings that result in the violation of people’s rights must be identified and resolved. The Iranian people, especially in these times, have shown they deserve the best, and we must do our part to deliver it.”

In another part of his remarks, the Chief Justice issued important and practical recommendations to judicial officials across the country. He noted: “While maintaining necessary security and protection is essential at all times, including now, this must not come at the cost of distancing ourselves from the people. We must remain close to them and address their issues with urgency.”

He issued key instructions for advancing the cases of individuals accused of connections with the Zionist regime and stated: “Expediting the processing and resolution of cases involving individuals accused of ties to the Zionist regime is an undeniable necessity. There must be no delay or negligence in this regard. At the same time, even in sensitive circumstances, we must never disregard justice, fairness, and due process. Indictments in these cases must be comprehensive, evidence-based, and substantiated, and the courts must issue fair judgments with legal precision and swiftness where guilt is proven.”

The Judiciary chief also stressed: “Competent judicial authorities must guide law enforcement agents to ensure that investigations into these cases are thorough, well-documented, and legally sound.”

He further stated: “Some cases involving individuals connected to the Zionist regime may predate the recent aggression. There must be a focused effort to swiftly and accurately determine the outcome of these cases in accordance with legal standards. Some of them may amount to corruption on earth (efsad fel-arz) and thus take priority. The next priority pertains to cases that may not meet that threshold or even qualify as espionage. Attention must also be given to other unresolved security-related cases due to their urgency and importance.”

Finally, the Judiciary chief instructed judicial officials nationwide to maintain continuous oversight over their subordinates and to intensify comprehensive monitoring under current conditions.
