The Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary-General of the High Council for Human Rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who traveled to Afghanistan at the head of a delegation, met and discussed with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country.
HCHR_ Kazem Gharibabadi, the Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary-General of the HCHR of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who has visited the country at the invitation of the Head of the Judicial Council of Afghanistan, met and talked with Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The parties in this meeting, which was also attended by Kazemi Qomi, Special Representative of Iran for Afghanistan Affairs and the Ambassador in Kabul, discussed a range of issues such as serious confrontation with terrorism and Takfiri groups and the formation of a joint judicial committee in this regard, transferring Iran’s judicial experiences to Afghanistan, the transfer of convicts, and the extradition of criminals.
It is noted that upon arrival, the Iranian delegation was welcomed by officials from the Judicial Council, the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.
The Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the accompanying delegation, will meet with the Head of the Judicial Council, the Attorney General and some members of the Judicial Council of Afghanistan, and discuss issues of mutual interest.
KazemiFard, the Head of the Statistics and Information Technology Center of the Judiciary, and Tarhani, the Judicial Deputy of the General Justice of Tehran Province, also accompany Gharibabadi on this trip.
