The Secretary-General of the High Council for Human Rights stated that committing numerous crimes and occupations, the child-killing Zionist Regime has no right to legitimate self-defense, based on International Law.
 

HCHR_Kazem Gharibabadi, the Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary-General of the High Council for Human Rights, on a one-day visit to Bushehr province, met with the representative of the Supreme Leader and Friday Prayer Imam of Bushehr, the members of the judicial council of the province and the governor of Bushehr, and was informed about the challenges and legal and judicial issues of this province. He also gave a speech at the “Peace Conference of Basij Fellows” and the “Day of Basij Jurists”, which was held in the presence of the commander of the Imam Sadiq Corps of Bushehr Province, the Chief Justice and the Basij Lawyers of this province, in Hosseinieh Ashaghan Tharullah Bushehr.Gharibabadi also visited the Persian Gulf regional museum of the province.


 

Emphasis on the protection and promotion of human rights inside the country

In a meeting with the members of the Judicial Council of Bushehr Province, pointing to the continuation of the crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, the Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs criticized the inaction of international organizations, including human rights mechanisms and the claimant countries in human rights, and pointed out that the responsibility for these crimes lies with them, especially the United States regime.

The Secretary-General of the High Council for Human Rights also explained the human rights policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and noted the important aspects of this policy as follows: protection and promotion of human rights inside the country, countering the instrumental and political misuse of human rights, pursuing human rights violations in claimant countries, presenting and explaining the country's human rights achievements, logical and purposeful interaction with international human rights mechanisms.



He further stated: “The policy of protecting and promoting human rights in the country is based on Islamic standards, the constitution and relevant laws, and the system uses its various capacities in this direction.
 

Gharibabadi, then emphasized on the importance of respecting those who refer to the judicial system, issuing fair sentences in proportion to the crimes committed, determining on the detainees in a reasonable time, carefulness in choosing alternatives punishments to imprisonment and the necessity of ensuring that the rights of the accused are not violated in the stage of observation and preliminarily investigation.

Emphasizing the need for brainstorming in the field of issues related to citizenship and human rights, the Secretary-General stated: “Protecting and promoting human rights in general, vindicating the rights of the victims and respecting the rights of the accused and convicted should be at the top of the attention of the executive bodies and the judicial system”. 

In the above meeting, the members of the judicial council of Bushehr province, presented a report of their most important actions, and put forward suggestions and necessary materials.
 

 Explaining the human rights programs and activities in the meeting with the representative of the Supreme Leader

In the continuation of this visit, Gharibabadi met with Ayatollah Gholam Ali Safai Bushehri, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Bushehr province. In this meeting, elaborating on the programs and activities of the Deputy for International Affairs of the Judiciary and the High Council for Human Rights, Gharibabadi emphasized on the support of Iranians abroad and the protection of the individuals’ rights in Iran.


 

Emphasis on the key and effective role of Basij in the eight-year holy defense 

The Secretary-General of the High Council for Human Rights at the “Peace Conference of Basij Fellows” and the “Day of Basij Jurists”, referring to the crimes of the Zionist Regime, stated that “the silence of the statesmen of Western and European countries after the brutal crimes of the child-killing Zionist Regime, has left no credibility for human rights in the world”.
 

Considering Basij as a school, the Secretary-General added: “Basij has had an effective and key role since the eight-year holy defense, and in the same way it has currently taken worthy actions in many fields such as science and knowledge, technology, providing services to the deprived, development of the country, enlightenment and Jihad”.

Stating that the role of Basij in peace and reconciliation is very effective, Gharibabadi clarified: “Basij has played a role in many specialized fields for more than 4 decades since the revolution”.

He further pointed out that Palestine has witnessed numerous aggressions and occupations during recent 75 years by the usurping Zionist Regime. He also reminded: “According to the international law, committing numerous crimes and occupations, the child-killing Zionist Regime doesn’t have the right to self-defense”.

Stating that the Zionist Regime has failed in its declared strategic goals in the Gaza Strip, the Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs considered the legal and judicial measures to be very effective in order to exert maximum pressure on the usurping Zionist Regime and added: “the legal capacity in various countries should be used fully, in order to put pressure on the brutal actions of the Zionist Regime.


 

Resistance is the most important part of the valuable history of Bushehr

In visiting the regional museum of the Persian Gulf in Bushehr province, Ghatibabadi stated: “6 centuries of resistance by the people of this region shows their courage and standing against foreign aggressors, and the valuable sense of guarding the water, soil and borders, from the past till now, is still an important component and an integral part of the culture of the people of this province”.

The Vice-President also added: “The Regional Museum of the Persian Gulf is a museum with huge data and can introduce the civilization of the Persian Gulf, especially the history and culture of the southern provinces neighboring this area, to any visitors. Bushehr province has good economic opportunities such as sea, palm, oil, gas and nuclear power station and these capacities should be used for the development of the province and the people should benefit from this blessing”.
 

In the end, the Secretary-General of the High Council for Human Rights considered Raees Ali Delwari as a national symbol and brand and noted: “Bushehr province has a very valuable and lasting history, and the most important and key part of this history is the resistance of the people of this province against aggressors and foreigners”.

This was the seventh visit to the provinces by the Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary-General of the High Council for Human Rights. He had previously visited Markazi, Golestan, Qazvin, Qom, Kermanshah and Kurdistan Provinces.
