Referring to the invalidity of human rights mechanisms in the case of the crimes of the Zionist regime, the deputy for International Affairs of the Judiciary and the Secretary of the Human Rights Staff said: The head of the Judiciary will send a letter to his counterparts in Islamic countries Ssoon to follow up on the crimes of the occupying regime.
HCHR_"Kazem Gharibabadi", Deputy of International Affairs of the Judiciary and Secretary of the Human Rights Headquarters, At a meeting to examine the dimensions of the humanitarian disaster in Gaza from the perspective of international law, organized by the Research Center of the Judiciary and with the cooperation of the Deputy of International Affairs of the Judiciary and the Human Rights Headquarters, and attended by a representative of Islamic Jihad. And Hamas, officials, lawyers and prominent university professors Kazem Gharibabadi said: That is, at the same time as looking at the crimes of the Zionist regime, attention should be paid to the all- out dimensions of the great epic of the Al-Aqsa Storm, because this operation demolished the so-called glory if Zionist regime, armed to the teeth and supported by Western countries, and surprised the intelligence and security structures and systems of the Zionist regime.
Gharibabadi clarified: The reason for the brutal and violent widespread response of the Zionist regime and the eagerly rush of Western politicians to travel to the occupied territories is the strength of the Resistance Forces as well as the concerns about the fate of the Zionist regime. This defeat for the Zionist regime was caused by forces that were under siege for years and in terms of numbers and equipment, they are in no way comparable to the Zionist army.
Regarding the timing of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, he said: This operation did not happen overnight, but it is rooted in the ongoing crimes of the Zionist regime. The Zionist regime occupied for 75 years and during this period the Western countries supported this regime; many international organizations also supported the occupation of this regime with their silence; This occupation has left 7 million people displaced, 100 thousands martyred, hundreds of thousands injured, and various other actions by the Zionist regime against the defenseless people of Gaza and Palestine, such as the all-round siege, etc., all came together and marked the epic of October 7.
Pointing out that the victory of the resistance does not make us ignore the crimes of the Zionist regime, the secretary of the human rights headquarters said: What is going on is an uneven war between the occupying regime and the Palestine. We are witnessing the war by an occupying regime against innocent people in Gaza; In this case, the Palestinian people enjoy the right to legitimate defense, not the occupying and aggressor regime.
Gharibabadi continued: "Requesting restraint from the sides of this story is not the right thing, because one side of the story is the people under occupation and the other side is an occupying regime; Here the case is different and the framework of analysis must be modified. He added such positions are completely political and in support of the Zionist regime and there is no balance on both sides of this issue.
The Vice President of International Affairs of the Judiciary also pointed to the outcome of the Zionist regime's crimes against Gaza in the past 22 days and stated: This is a very big crime; The Zionist regime is making no distinction in its criminality; more than half of the Palestinian martyrs are women and children; the methods practiced between the Resistance and the Zionist regime in this unequal battle are not the same; the Resistance respects Islamic and humanitarian principles.
He emphasized: In the first week of the attack on Gaza, the Zionist regime committed all criminal crimes such as war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, and ethnic and racial cleansing, has mocked all international mechanisms and treaties; and we have seen this process since the second day of the attack on Gaza.
Referring to the admission by the Zionist regime authorities to the crime against Gaza, Gharibabadi said: they did not achieve success despite the huge slaughter; they could not even advance on land; this caused the Zionist regime to go crazy; it is necessary to control an irrational regime and stop its crimes. While praising the epic caused by Resistance Forces, we seek to pursue the war crimes of the Zionist regime.
Referring to the international human rights treaties, conventions, and the Zionist regime's accession to some of them, the Secretary of the Human Rights headquarters emphasized: these crimes show the inefficiency of the human rights mechanisms and these mechanisms are not even capable of taking a proper stance, let alone taking practical measures to stop crimes.
According to Gharib Abadi, the invalidity of human rights mechanisms was more than ever revealed after the recent crimes of the Zionist regime.
The Vice- President of the Judiciary for International Affairs also referred to following up legal proceedings and said: Our duty and of the Islamic countries is to put legal and judicial measures on the agenda. These crimes should not be forgotten and we should move with strength on the legal path and documenting the crimes of the Zionist regime is an important issue that we are looking for. He further said : Documentation must be done in a legal way so that it can be used for legal and judicial as well as political and human rights purposes. He opined forming an international network of lawyers and jurists to file lawsuits against the Zionist regime in foreign courts is another action that is being pursued these days. The capacity of different courts should be used to deal with the crimes of the Zionist regime; the Palestinian government is a member of the International Court of Justice, but its complaint case has not progressed. Gharibabadi also said : In this regard, two things must be done: the network of jurists and lawyers and popular groups should send their complaints to the prosecutor of the court and encourage and urge him to investigate the crimes of the Zionist regime; The Palestinian government should also Pursue the crimes of the Zionist regime based on their national laws and capacities.
Gharibabadi added : We hope that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will take effective and practical measures to deal with the crimes of the Zionist regime and these measures can span from forming a court to boycotting Zionist goods and companies and expelling the the regim ambassadors from Islamic countries.
