Amirabdollahian met and held talks with Kőrösi in Geneva on Tuesday.
Earlier, the foreign minister made the remarks in an address to the 52nd Session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
Amirabdollahian said that “for us, respect for ‘human rights and dignity’ is a core value that is deeply rooted in our national tradition and profoundly embedded in our religious beliefs.”
UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi, Director General of the International Organization of Migration (IOM) António Vitorino, International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) President Mirjana Spoljaric, and Director of Coordination of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Ramesh Rajasingham were the heads of the international humanitarian organizations present in the meeting with the Iranian foreign minister in Geneva.
