Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations Majid Takht Ravanchi called on the UN to act immediately to stop the Zionist Regime’s aggression and occupation in Palestine.
Takht Ravanchi made the remarks in a meeting of ambassadors of Muslim countries with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Friday, where he highlighted the recent attacks by the Zionist Regime on Muslim worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosqu.
Ambassadors and representatives of other Muslim nations emphasized the UN’s role in fair settlement of the Palestine issue and ending the Zionist occupation of Palestinian lands.

The proposal was accepted by Muslim representatives.
