  • Second bulletin of the trial of the ringleader of Harakat-al-Nezal terrorist grouplet is published

The second bulletin of the court hearing of the leader of the terrorist group Harakat-al-Nezal is published by the High Council for Human Rights.

HCHR- The second court hearing for Habib Farajollah Chaab, the ringleader of Harakat- al-Nezal terrorist grouplet, was held in the presence of the his lawyers and a number of families who had lost their loved ones in the terrorist attack carried out by this grouplet.

The highlights of the hearing is available here.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is among few nations to have been a major victim of terrorism despite taking various counter-terrorism measures. Over recent decades, more than 17,000 innocent civilians have lost their lives in terrorist operations carried out by a variety of terrorist groups including but not limited to the Monafeqin Organisation (hereinafter referred to as MKO), the Kurdistan Free Life Party (hereinafter referred to as PJAK), Komala, and the Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahwaz (hereinafter referred to as ASMLA or HARAKAT-AL-NEZAL). The ringleader of one of these terrorist groups has recently been arrested and brought to justice. The first court hearing for Habib Farajollah Cha’ab, nicknamed Habib Asyud, the ringleader of ASMLA terrorist grouplet, was held on 18 January 2022, at Division 26 of Islamic Court of Revolution in the presence of the defendant’s defense attorneys and a number of families of those who had lost their lives during a terrorist attack carried out by the abovenamed terrorist grouplet. At the hearing, the first section of the bill of indictment was read out by the prosecutor and video clips from the ASMLA-operated terrorist operations were projected. The second court hearing for the One of The Harakat-al-Nezal Terorist group acts has  resulted in the martydom of 74 civilians.

abovenamed was held on 26 January 2022. The second part of the bill of indictment was presented to court by the prosecutor, the highlights of which are listed hereunder:

Based upon investigations, Habib Farajollah Cha’ab is charged with establishment, administration and leadership of ASMLA terrorist grouplet as well as planning and carrying out terrorist operations and vandalising public property through numerous terrorist operations. All through interrogations, the defendant has  acknowledged to the establishment of the aforesaid terrorist grouplet and carrying out bombing and terrorist operations.

The defendant has also acknowledged to having carried out the 2005 terrorist operations in the Ahvaz Governor’s Office as well as the Plan and Budget Department. From 10:00 to 10:30, every 10 minutes one bomb had been set off, leaving a large number of people dead. After fleeing Iran and settling in Europe, he had reorganised his terrorist grouplet whose new military wing had carried out terrorist operations in the Islamic Republic of Iran, including bombing.

In ASMLA’s new organisational chart, the aforesaid person engaged in terrorist operations is recognised and referred to as No. 2. The financial affairs of the said terrorist grouplet have been handled by a person named Farid. There have been close communications between the defendant and Farid for carrying out terrorist operations and bombing. After Habib Negan, the top commander of ASMLA terrorist group, was arrested by Denmark’s security service on charges of espionage for Saudi Arabia as well as acts of terror, Habib Farajollah Cha’ab has been serving as the de facto leader of ASMLA.

Some operatives of the abovenamed terrorist grouplet are based in Denmark and Belgium, wherefrom they carry out terrorist operations against Iranian citizens. The Islamic Republic of Iran calls on these States to comply with their obligations on countering terrorism and hand over the terrorists to Iran.

Adil Nissi’s smuggling of electronic detonator into Iran for making bombs is another act of terrorism by the said terrorist grouplet. As per the defendant’s acknowledgement, the fugitive members of ASMLA terrorist grouplet, all of whom are living abroad, are currently seeking to establish new acknowledgement with terrorist groups. The aforesaid terrorist grouplet has a fraternity pact with MKO terrorist group which is responsible for the death of thousands of Iranians. ASMLA is allied to MKO and they have held joint meetings.

Mohammad Taha Eghdami, a 4-year-old boy who was present to watch  his father’s participation in the Armed Forces parade, was martyred in a terrorist attack by the Harakat al-Nezal group in Ahvaz

The said terrorist grouplet introduces another terrorist grouplet led by Nasser Shaverdi which is based in the Netherlands as its military wing to carry out the most dangerous operations in Khuzestan, Shadegan, Mahshahr and Darkhoein. The defendant has acknowledged that three operatives of the said terrorist grouplet had fled to Syria where they had joined Syrian terrorist groups to combat the Syrian government and receive military training. One of the trio has been killed, the second one has been captured in Ahvaz, and the third is on the loose outside Iran.

The assassination of Abdolhossein Mojarradi Moqaddam, commander of Darkhoein Basij force, in 2019 also proved the terrorist nature of ASMLA. The terrorist grouplet was planning to spread the extent of its terrorist operations to Tehran, setting such targets as the Sugarcane Development Co., Justice Department and Ministry of Agriculture.

As per ASMLA’s hierarchal instruction, which the defendant was fully cognisant of, it had been decided that an ASMLA operative arrange for a member of the Jaish al-Adl terrorist grouplet to transfer ammunition to Khuzestan to be provided to ASMLA operatives, thereby enabling them to carry out terrorist operations. However, due to mistrust and fear of inspection, the operation was aborted. The defendant has acknowledgement that in 2014 and 2018, two consignments of arms had been dispatched to Khuzestan and ended up at the hands of ASMLA operatives. But, in the meantime, arms smugglers were arrested.

After Habib Farajollah Cha’ab was arrested, Saeed Hamdan succeeded him as the ASMLA ringleader. Hamdan is currently living in Sweden. An ASMLA operative had assassinated two persons in Shubainya district in the city of Shoushtar before fleeing to Syria to receive military training. Then, he had gone to Europe and married Habib Nebgan’s daughter. He is currently in contact with a terrorist grouplet in Shoushtar.

The question here is how come the current head of a terrorist grouplet is freely residing in Sweden, and despite a red notice issued therefor, the Scandinavian country refuses to turn him over? Habib Nebgan, the former leader of this terrorist grouplet, was arrested by Denmark’s intelligence service on charges of terrorist activity, and is currently behind bars. Eskandar Menshavi, an ASMLA member based in Austria, has planned terrorist operations against Iran in cahoots with his accomplices.

Based upon the defendant’s express acknowledgement, Hamid Soltani, a member of the terrorists grouplet, had told Habib Farajhollah Cha’ab several months before his arrest that he had obtained information about Iranian military staff, asking Cha’ab to travel to London to receive the information. The terrorist grouplet had planned to assassinate Ayatollah Jazayeri, the Friday Prayers leader of Ahvaz, and a number of other dignitaries. Furthermore, bombing of the Basij headquarters and activating a military wing in Khuzestan were among other objectives of the terrorist grouplet in question.

ASMLA had held numerous meetings with the Saudi government and spy agency to discuss commercial  and security activities for gaining revenue. Based upon the defendant’s statements, finding acknowledgement with Saudi Arabia began in 2019, which is still under way and flagged as established. The meetings held with the Saudi spy agency were aimed at countering the Islamic Republic of Iran. These contacts were established by joint meetings between ASMLA operatives and the Saudi spy agency. The flow of aid to ASMLA keeps on. The defendant has acknowledgement that those who reported on their grouplet were placed on the blacklist.

Saudi Arabia’s spy agency has been paying Farid Hamid $20,000 in monthly salary. The exorbitant tens of millions of dollars spent on meetings, conferences, rallies and foreign trips by the terrorist grouplet’s ringleaders, and more generally other entities acting against the Islamic Republic of Iran, had been also paid out.

In 2015, some splinter groups were formed within ASMLA terrorist grouplet. Saudi Arabia refused to recognise this splinter and the Saudi spy agency rewarded this terrorist grouplet with $2 million. In addition, with a view to bolstering terrorist groups acting against the Islamic Republic, Saudi Arabia paid $5 million to the terrorist ASMLA grouplet, $1.2 million to Salih Kamrani, leader of the terrorist group in northwest, and $2 million to the terrorist Jaish al-Adl grouplet. The payments to Kamrani and the Jaish al-Adl grouplet had been made by Saudi Arabia with the terrorist ASMLA grouplet serving as intermediary.

Samir al-Sobhan is a member of Saudi secret service tasked with policymaking for ASMLA terrorists. The defendant has acknowledgement that there is still contact between al-Sobhan and ASMLA. The $1.2 million paid to Salih Kamrani, the ASMLA leader in northwest Iran, was aimed at setting up a separatist network and news blackmailing.

Saleh Kamrani, the leader of the terrorist group Harakat al-Nezal, who, despite the obvious terrorist acts, still enjoys the support of European countries, including Sweden.

A conference held in the U.S. was aimed at bringing all terrorist groups inside and outside of Iran closer to the MKO terrorists. The conference was co-sponsored by the Saudi, the U.S. and the Zionist regime spy agencies. The conference was of such significance that Saudi Arabia sent its foreign minister Adel al-Jubeir to attend. Cha’ab has been in contact with the U.S., Saudi and Israeli spy agencies, in addition to cooperating with Bahrain’s spy agency.

Menal Moslemi, the special spy of the Zionist regime, who in addition to her contacts with Harakat al-Nezal terrorist group was tasked to gather information on the capacities of all opposition groups and use them against the Islamic Republic of Iran

A Jewish national of Tunisia, Menal Moslemi, who was working at the office of Fulvio Mortusciello, the  then Italian member to the European Parliament,  is an Israeli spy who has connected ASMLA to the Zionist regime. He arranged for all meetings between ASMLA terrorists and Mossad spy agency. Protecting Zionist lobbies’ interests, AIPAC is based in the United States. The head of AIPAC has held meetings with Menal Molsemi. Moslemi has been paid by the terrorist ASMLA grouplet for participating in meetings, signing statements and organising rallies. Furthermore, mortusciello had received about $5000 from this terrorist group to attend meetings each time.

Habib Farajollah Cha’ab has acknowledgement to stealing 300 tonnes of wheat from silos to fund arms, planning destruction of the Abadan oil pipeline in 2005, and carrying out bombing in Ahvaz and Bank Saman in that city. Even after Farajollah Cha’ab’s arrest, Saudi Arabia continues to provide financial aid to Hamdan, the new leader of this terrorist grouplet. These costs include holding seminars outside Iran and paying for persons who are covertly sent abroad to attend anti-Iran meetings.
