In a message on his twitter account, secretary of Iranian Judiciary's Human Rights Council Kazem Gharibabadi criticized Canada for the newly found remains of indigenous children.
“Underneath the soil we step on lies the bodies of people who have sacrificed their precious lives during an imposed war whose money and weapons came from the West. Elsewhere in Canada, when you dig the grounds, there you discover the remains of innocent indigenous children!” he wrote.
He finally, wrote “The biggest threat to human rights comes from hypocrisy, politicisation, and double standards.”
Recently, an Indigenous community in Canada’s western province of British Columbia has found dozens of potential unmarked graves on the grounds of a former residential school.
