Kazem Gharibabadi, the secretary-general of Iran's High Council for Human Rights, met separately with Maciej Fałkowski, Ambassador of Poland to Iran, and Gaddam Dharmendra, Ambassador of India to Tehran.
During these meetings, Gharibabadi, while explaining the human rights policies and judicial diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, announced Tehran's readiness for talks and the development of legal and judicial cooperation with the two countries.
Referring to the cultural commonalities between the two countries, Gharibabadi said: "Unfortunately, today the Western approach prevails over human rights and the human rights based perspective of developing countries and the principle of respect for cultural diversity are not taken into account."
"India can play an effective role in countering this one-sided approach," he added.
The ambassadors of India and Poland also expressed their countries' interest in exchanging experiences and judicial visits, as well as developing cooperation in this field.
