The achievement of American democracy is nothing but "chaos"

  • The achievement of American democracy is nothing but "chaos"

The High Council for Human Rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran published a tweet in response to the US President, Joe Biden

The High Council for Human Rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran tweeted about American democracy: “American democracy outcome for Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and many other countries has been coup d’etat, insecurity, chaos, more opium plantation and civil war!”

The HCHR also added: “US latest democracy export was lithium coup in Nicaragua ousting elected president to gain access to their natural resources!”

The HCHR released the tweet in response to a recent tweet by Joe Biden, who had previously claimed: "Democracy thrives when the infrastructure of democracy is strong, when people have the right to vote freely, fairly and comfortably, when the press freely and independently seeks the truth, when the law applies to everyone equally, regardless of who they are”.

The United States, inside and outside its borders, has always insisted that it is a special nation with a special responsibility to the world, and that democracy and human rights are the most fundamental American values and the most important American policy since Wilson. Meanwhile, US military intervention under the pretext of establishing democracy around the world and the widespread destruction of the infrastructure of the target countries is clear to everyone.

Washington's latest move was an intervention in the Nicaraguan election, and it failed. The victory of the US opposition not only was a major setback for Washington's policies in Bolivia and Latin America, but also bad news for some large US companies that had their eyes on Bolivia's rich resources especially lithium; the companies that had even been involved in the coup to gain access to these resources.
