In a tweet, Ali Bagheri Kani, the deputy for international affairs to the judiciary reacted to the human rights gesture of the three JCPOA European member states and wrote: "are European signatories of JCPOA concerned about human rights?"
"Three European countries should end the" arbitrary detention "of Iranian citizens accused of" legal act” of ignoring the “illegal” US sanctions ".
He also mentioned the names of two Iranian citizens detained by European countries named "Sajjad Shahidian" and "Hamid Kiasti".
Sajjad Shahidian was arrested by the British at the request of the US judiciary and extradited to the United States on charges of violating US sanctions. Shahidian was the manager of an online exchange called Payment 24, which provided internet payments or remittances to citizens inside Iran who could not exchange money with the world due to the US illegal sanctions. He was sentenced to 23 months in prison for the business.
