Iran's judiciary chief, Ebrahim Raisi will travel to Iraq upon an official invitation by the head of Iraq's Supreme Judicial Council, Faeq Zeidan.

Ali Bagheri Kani, the Secretary of the High Council for Human Rights and the Deputy of International Affairs to the Judiciary will also accompany Ayatollah Raisi during this three-day trip.

Heading a high-ranking delegation, Raisi will leave Tehran for Baghdad on Monday.

The Iranian delegation will visit the headquarters of the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq on Tuesday to sign several memorandums of understanding between the two countries in the framework of judicial and legal cooperation.

On the sidelines of the trip, several memorandums of understanding will be signed with the Ministry of Justice and High Commissioner for Human Rights in Iraq.
