More than 80,000 cases have been terminated since the beginning of this year and also 16 cases with death penalties have led to reconciliation, he Director of Kermanshah Dispute Resolution Council said.

Jabbar Tajarri said that from the beginning of this year to the end of December, 80,114 cases have been terminated which included more than 30% of legal cases and more than 70% of criminal cases; the rest of cases have been decided.

“Less than 9 per cent of the decisions have been appealed which shows the people's satisfaction with the Dispute Settlement Council", he added.

Tajarri also mentioned that in the same period more than 16 murder cases have led to compromise. There are no pending cases in the council chambers either. Also, the rate of execution chamber cases has reduced by 50 per cent and the percentage of electronic notices has reached to 97%, the official said.
