Iran recommends the US: Stop arbitrary detention of Iranian nationals

  • Iran recommends the US: Stop arbitrary detention of Iranian nationals
During the UN Human Rights Council session on the periodic review of the situation of human rights in the US held in Geneva, the permanent mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the UN addressed the US government and recommended that the US government stop the systemic racism against black citizens and also end the unlawful killing and assassinations all over the world which also would include the punishment of those who ordered the assassination of General Soleimani and his companions, Hugh Council for Human Rights reported.
Baghaee also mentioned that unilateral and unlawful sanctions against other countries are clear grave violations of human rights and urged the US to cooperate with the UN special rapporteur and put an end to arbitrary detention of Iranian nationals in abroad under the pretext of violating the US illegal sanctions.

Cooperation with the ICC on prosecuting and punishing the US army personnel for the war crimes they have committed in Afghanistan, ending partnership in commission of war crimes and systematic violation of human rights in Yemen and Palestine executed by the Zionist and Saudi regimes, not selling arms to countries violating human rights in Yemen and Palestine and ending inhumane conduct towards immigrants such as separating children from their parents and putting them in cages, were a number of recommendations that Baghaee reminded to the US.
