HCHR- In a meeting between the head of the Judiciary and members of the Commission of National Security and Foreign Policy of the Parliament of Iran, Kazem Gharibabadi, the Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary-General of the High Council for Human Rights said: The case of terrorism, including assassination of nuclear martyrs, hypocrites and the assassination of General Soleimani are under investigation by the High Council for Human Rights, and the first joint commission of inquiry will begin its work in the near future.
“Presenting the human rights achievements, purposeful interaction with international bodies, responding and showing serious reactions to allegations and accusations and explaining and promoting Islamic human rights are the strategies and programs of the High Council for Human Rights and we need the cooperation of MPs to achieve them.”
Gharibabadi also stressed the need to increase the capacity of parliamentary diplomacy in the two areas of countering terrorism and resolutions against Iran.
