The Vice President of the Judiciary for International Affairs Arrived in Baghdad to Participate in the Meeting of the Joint Judicial Committee on Counter Terrorism

  • The Vice President of the Judiciary for International Affairs Arrived in Baghdad to Participate in the Meeting of the Joint Judicial Committee on Counter Terrorism

The Vice President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary General of the High Council for Human Rights arrived in Baghdad to participate in the fourth meeting of the bilateral joint judicial committee on counter terrorism between Iran and Iraq.

 

“Naser Seraj”, the Vice President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary General of the High Council for Human Rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran, arrived in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, this afternoon, on Tuesday, April 29, as the head of a high judicial delegation, to participate in the fourth meeting of the bilateral joint judicial committee on counter terrorism between Iran and Iraq, and was officially welcomed by the country’s high judicial authorities.

 

 

The Vice President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the accompanying delegation then attended the memorial site of the martyrdom of General Hajj Qassem Soleimani, the former commander of the IRGC's Quds Force, Hajj Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and their comrades near Baghdad Airport, and honored the memory of these martyrs.

During this visit, Seraj is scheduled to meet with Faiq Zaidan, the Head of the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq, the Attorney General of Iraq, and the Minister of Justice of Iraq, and discuss relevant legal and judicial issues, including countering terrorism.
