The spokesman for the judiciary stated that martyrs Moghiseh and Razini were the source of important services due to their important responsibilities in the judiciary and were always the object of hatred and grudges of the enemies due to their judgments in many important security cases.

Asghar Jahangir, spokesman for the judiciary, in a telephone conversation with Khabar Network regarding the details of the assassination of martyrs Hojatoleslam Wal Muslimin Moghiseh and Hojatoleslam Wal Muslimin Razini, said: Unfortunately, this morning at around 10:00, an armed person entered the Supreme Court and, upon entering the room of two senior judges, Hojatoleslam Wal Muslimin Razini and Hojatoleslam Wal Muslimin Moghiseh were martyred.

He added: "These two dear people were hated and resented by the enemies of Islam and the system due to their important responsibilities in the judiciary and handling important cases in the field of security issues, to the extent that Hojatoleslam Wal Muslimin Razini was also assassinated by hypocritical movements in 1998."

Jahangir added: "In the past year, the judiciary has taken extensive measures to identify agents and elements affiliated with Zionist and hypocritical movements, including spies and terrorist groups, and an example of this was the trial of hypocritical movements, which led to the anger and hatred of the enemies, and today the result was the martyrdom of two distinguished and experienced Supreme Court judges, which was carried out by an infiltrator with a handgun."

He added: "Complete investigations have been initiated to identify and arrest those associated with this movement, and I hope that we will be able to inform the public of the results of the investigation quickly."

In response to the question of whether another person was injured or martyred, Jahangir said: "Yes, one of the branch chief's bodyguards was also injured in this process."

Regarding the motive of the gunman, the judiciary spokesman said: "The gunman left the branch immediately after committing this terrorist act and committed suicide while fleeing. Therefore, we cannot provide any new information at this time. We will review his background and provide information about this in subsequent interviews."
