Pointing out that the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is to firmly support its citizens abroad, the Secretary General of the High Council for Human Rights stated: “The arrest of Mr. Nouri was arbitrary and illegal”.
Kazem Gharibabadi, the Vice President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary General of the High Council for Human Rights, after welcoming Hamid Nouri, said: “The arrest of Mr. Nouri was arbitrary and illegal. He had not committed any crime and was unjustly arrested for 5 years based on the accusations of a terrorist group whose hands are stained with the blood of more than 17000 innocent people.
During this time, all his rights were violated and he suffered a lot, just like the family did”. He further emphasized: “The policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is to firmly support its nationals abroad, and we will use all the capacities to free the imprisoned compatriots.
The Secretary General of HCHR of the I.R of Iran noted: “Mr. Nouri showed great endurance during these 5 years. We were following Mr. Nouri's speech in the court, he had very good positions and revealed the nature of the terrorist group of the hypocrites well, and this is valuable”.
At the end, Gharibabadi thanked and appreciated the efforts of the Judiciary, the Judiciary Information Protection Center, the Ministry of Intelligence, the Secretariat of the Supreme Security Council, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
