On the occasion of the birth anniversaries of Prophet Muhammad and Imam Sadiq (pbut), the Leader of the Revolution agreed to pardon and commute the sentences of a number of eligible convicts.
On the occasion of the birth anniversaries of Prophet Muhammad and Imam Sadiq (pbut), Hujjatul Islam Eje'i, Iran’s Judiciary Chief, addressed a letter to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and requested permission to pardon and commute the sentences of 2,284 convicts sentenced in the Public and Revolutionary Courts, the Judicial Organization of the Armed Forces, and the State Discretionary Punishment Organization. These convicts have been identified as meeting the necessary conditions by the relevant commission. This request was approved by Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
