IRGC Qods Force Commander Brigadier General Esmaeil Ghaani said on Sunday that the late General Qasem Soleimani had made a good link between diplomacy and the battlefield.
Qaani was speaking in the commemoration ceremony of the second anniversary of former IRGC Qods Force Commander General Qasem Soleimani held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday.
He said that General Soleimani was pioneer in many areas, as he managed to make a good link between diplomacy and the battlefield.
Qaani praised Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their cooperation with General Soleimani, adding that he had a faith-oriented understanding of politics.
General Soleimani and former Iraqi Mobilization Unit Forces commander Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis along with eight other companions were assassinated by the US army in a terrorist drone attack on January 3, 2020.
The attack was carried out at the direct order of former US President Donald Trump.
