Emphasis on Legal Pursuit of Zionist Regime’s Aggression Against Iran
The Vice President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary General of the High Council for Human Rights met and talked with the Head of the Red Crescent Society.
“Naser Seraj”, The Vice President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary General of the High Council for Human Rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met and talked with “Pirhossein Kulivand”, Head of the Red Crescent Society and Head of the National Committee for International Humanitarian Law, today, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
Paying tribute to the pure souls of the martyrs of the 12-day war by the Zionist regime against Iran, Seraj added: “The Red Crescent aid workers lovingly and bravely served the victims during this cowardly war, and we are grateful for the epic presence of the Red Crescent aid workers in serving the people”.
The Secretary General of the HCHR also emphasized the influential role of the Red Crescent in limiting the means and methods of war in order to reduce the destructive effects of war, referring to the provisions of the United Nations Charter and the Geneva Conventions as the main part of international humanitarian law.
The Head of the Red Crescent Society also stated that four dear aid workers were martyred while serving the people of our country, and said: “We submitted a criminal complaint and report containing all human rights violations, to the Committee of the Red Cross and the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court. They also condemned these actions and promised to follow up the issue”.
