In an interview with the High Council for Human Rights, Shahid Shateripoor Isfahani, the Director of Criminal Law Research Center at the Judiciary called the judicial security document the national declaration of public rights which, as he believes, ensures and safeguards public rights more effectively than the western declaration of human rights.
On the importance of the mentioned document, he said that this document is a declaration on safeguarding the judicial security of people under the Islamic Republic sovereignty and according to Article 156 of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s constitution, the administration of justice and legitimate freedoms and ensuring public rights are of natural duties of the judicial system.
“In fact, the judicial security document is a strategic instrument which draws the map to the administration of justice and expresses that people in the Islamic Republic of Iran enjoy an autonomous judicial system which has been adjusted based on Islamic jurisprudence and characteristics of the Iranian society”, he added.
The most prominent feature of this document is that it enhances public trust among people towards the judicial system and as people taste the sweetness of justice, the social capital increases as well, Shateripoor said.
