During the visit to the 31st round of Tehran International Book Fair, Leader Khamanei was accompanied by the Iranian Culture Minister Salehi. Leader of Islamic Revolution visited nearly 50 pavilions and in addition to reviewing new publications, listened to main concerns of publishers.
Following the visit, Ayatollah Khamenei, in a brief comment, described books as one of the necessities in life of people from all walks of life, the youth in particular.
"The role of the book is unmistakable and indisputable and, indeed, the best books are those which guide human beings in the direction of God as well as high Revolutionary values," added the Iranian Leader voicing hope that books will find their true place in society.
The event is scheduled to wrap up on Saturday after running for 10 days at Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla of Tehran.
