Bill

Hosts women activists, Iranian judiciary chief said that drafting a bill to protect women against violence is in progress and soon will be presented to the parliament and executive body.

The Islamic Revolution of 1979 brought seismic changes to Iran, not least for women. The revolution has opened up new possibilities for women. Iran was one of the first countries in the Middle East to allow women to study at the university and women accounted for more applications to universities than men.

"We are legally and morally responsible for protecting women's right in the society; therefore, we carefully examine any example of violence against women like preventing flight attendants from having children or late-night classes which causes trouble for female students."

In this meeting which was held on Saturday, men and women discussed their ideas about women issues.
