Heads of Kuwait and Palestine Red Crescents sympathized with victims of recent floods in Iran and expressed readiness to help flood-stricken people.

 In his message to Head of Iran Red Crescent Society Ali Asghar Peyvandi, President of Kuwait Red Crescent Society Barges H. Al Barges regretted over the sad occasion which inflicted destructive damages all around the country.

He sympathized with bereaved families of the victims of the deadly incident and prayed for their souls to rest in peace.

Based on the reports, Kuwait has allocated $300,000 to buy food and other stuff for flood-hit people.

Meanwhile, Palestine Red Crescent Society’s staff sympathized with victims of the sad incident.

The President of Palestine Red Crescent Society Younis Al Khatib in a similar message expressed sympathy with flood stricken people in Iran.

In the meantime, India diplomatic mission in Tehran in a message sympathized with victims of the deadly incident, announcing that a list of non-cash aids have been rendered to Indian embassy.

Unprecedented heavy rains caused floods in various parts of Iran over the past two weeks. Scores of people were killed and 478 others were injured and a large number were displaced across Iran.

The disaster coincided with the high season of Iranian trips as they were spending the national two-week holidays of Nowruz.
