A high-ranking human rights delegation, led by President of Iran’s High Council for Human rights Dr. Mohammad Javad Larijani, left Tehran for Geneva to attend the 37th session of 37th session of the Human Rights Council.

Mohammad Javad Larijani, who is the President of High Council for Human rights of the Islamic Republic of Tehran, is leading the top-ranking delegation to 37th Regular Session of the UN’s Human Rights Council underway in the Swiss city of Geneva.

The visit will take place from March 10 to 14 and Iran’s Larijani is slated to meet with Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

President of Iran’s High Council for Human Rights is also expected to attend joint sessions with heads of a number of delegations present at the international event.
