HCHR_Today, Sunday, August 04, 2024, at the 8th Commemoration Ceremony of the Human Dignity Day and the 8th Islamic Human Rights Award, Siraj Al-Haq, the Head of Jama’at Islami Party (Islamic Community) of Pakistan and anti-Zionist activist and one of the winners of the Islamic Human Rights Award, while thanking the HCHR for offering him the Islamic Human Rights Award, stated: “Palestine has brought the hearts of Muslims together and now it can unite the Islamic nations with each other. In addition, the people of other countries of the world have also become aware of the crimes of the occupying Zionist regime and a global movement has been formed in support of the people of Gaza and Palestine”.

He called for a diplomatic, economic and commercial embargo against the regime of Israel by the countries of the world, especially the Islamic states of the region, and stated: “The regime of Israel is an element of evil and corruption in the world today, and we do not recognize the occupying regime as an independent country. All the freedom-loving nations of the world, especially the people of Islamic countries, are on the side of Palestine, and we will not back down from protesting against the crimes of the illegitimate Israeli regime”.

Siraj Al-Haq also emphasized: “the actions of the leaders of the Islamic countries and the United Nations did not bring any results to end the war in Gaza or to make the Israeli regime accountable, and the brutalities and crimes of the illegitimate Zionist regime against the defenseless Palestinian people continue today”.

Condemning the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, he said: “The assassination of the outstanding and brave leader of the Resistance is a malicious and criminal act that will not left unanswered and makes the Resistance Axis more determined against the crimes committed by the Zionist regime and its supporters”.
