The head of the Prisons Organization announced that 1,200 prisoners have been examined by doctors and received various medical services in just two days.
Mohammad Mehdi Hajmohammadi tweeted: "Apart from the fact that death and illness may also occur for 12,000 prisoners in Tehran, but since we are responsible for maintaining the health of prisoners, in addition to daily care, with the sincere help of 30 doctors in Tehran prisons, 1,200 prisoners have been examined and received various medical services in two days.”
last month, Head of Iran's Prisons Organization announced that the majority of prisoners in Iran have received at least one dose of coronavirus vaccine, saying that "Iran attaches great importance to the health of the inmates as can be seen in the high rate of vaccination among them."
