At least a total number of 77 schools were destroyed due to devastating floods in various provinces across Iran, a non-governmental organization said on Monday.

The UN representative in Iran says the international organization has opened a special financial channel to allow cash donations for the survivors of recent devastating floods in Iran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif sent a letter to the embassy of Switzerland in Tehran announcing that in case the US enlists IRGC among terrorist groups, Iran will take countermeasures, a Parliament Member Ali Najafi Khoshroo quoted Zarif as saying in a meeting on Monday.
