The measures with respect to Mohasel Park as a special park for the disabled and blind in include installing special stickers for the disabled, changing the floor of the playground, a special drinking fountain for the disabled, adaptation of stairs and access ramps for the disabled, modification of the park entrance for proper access and wheelchair access, Mehdi Hooshyar said.
A set of play equipment for children with disabilities, a set of bodybuilding equipment for the disabled, special toilets for the disabled, flooring of passages for the visually impaired and the blind with special floor coverings have been done in Mohesel park so that using the park facilities would become easy for the dear disabled, veterans and blind citizens, the official added.
He further said that in order to fulfill the slogan of Tehran City, providing services to the physically-challenged individuals and respecting the rights of the disabled, Mohasel and Aftab Parks are being adapted for the use of these groups of citizens in this area.
