Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi on Friday strongly condemned the recent crimes and atrocities of the Saudi-led coalition in bombarding houses in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, which claimed lives of civilians.

Those countries that are supporting these invaders by providing them with bombs and all types of destructive military apparatus are to be blamed for these crimes and should stand accountable to the international community, he said.

He strongly condemned the recent bombardment of residential houses in Sana'a by the Saudi-led coalition which claimed lives of civilians and injured scores of children and women.

Sympathizing with the bereaved families of the victims, he urged the international community and human rights bodies to act based on their commitments and prevent re-occurrence of such crimes through every means.

In a bloody air strike on Thursday against residential houses in Sana'a, six members of one family including four children were killed and some 71 others sustained injuries including 27 children, 17 women and 27 men.
