High Council for Human Rights statement on Trump's decision

  • High Council for Human Rights statement on Trump's decision
High Council for Human Rights

Regarding the recent measure taken by the US with regard to the Islamic Republic of Iran's IRGC, the HCHR has issued a statement and condemned this scornful decision.

The statement reads as follows,

Once again, the international community has witnessed the systematic violation of international law by Donald Trump, the man who is determined to eliminate the international law by the use of force and chaos.

The HCHR considers the recent measure taken by the double team (Trump and Netanyahu) as the obvious violation of the clause 7, article 2 of the UN charter. Trump's dark background includes unilateral measures such as the shameful approval of the Zionist regime's rule over Golan Heights, the recognition of Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime, obvious interferences in domestic affairs of other countries and imposing numerous cruel sanctions on them, the violation of the Security Council's resolution 2231 and exiting JCPOA, threatening others and leaving the UN Human Rights Council, withdrawing from the Paris climate agreement and violation of several other international instruments and obligations. Similarly, putting the IRGC on the list of terrorist groups is another wrong measure with the aim of spreading hatred and insecurity in the world particularly in western Asia and is strongly condemned by Iran.

Trump's performance during the past three years is a symbol of his systematic actions in order to present a bad picture of Muslims, foreigners and immigrants among the American nation and other countries and also he has tried to create two phenomena, namely "sponsoring terrorist actions" and "producing terrorism" in the world.

Today, backing the Zionist regime, the symbol of governmental terrorism in western Asia as an attempt to find a location for terrorist groups and also strengthening them, is a part of Trump's dark background in the White House.

With regard to identifying real terrorists, it needs to be mentioned that commanders and forces of Iran's IRGC are known, approved and respected by 80 million Iranians and also by the countries and nations of the region such as Iraqis, Syrians, Afghans etc. as the most organized and coherent armed forces in destroying terrorist groups which are supported by the US and Israel in western Asia and also in helping civilians and governments during natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes.

It is worth mentioning that unlike Trump and his administration who have recently faced another scandal as the international criminal court has started primary examinations with respect to the US war crimes committed on a vast scale in Afghanistan, the commanders and other forces of the IRGC have never traveled to the countries recently freed from terrorists amid tight security during nighttime because the IRGC's real bodyguards are the sensible nations of the region.
Warning about the consequences of the contemptuous decision made by Trump and its probable upcoming systematic violation of International law by the US, the HCHR has urges the UN Secretary General, the Security Council and the High Commissioner for Human Rights to consider this issue seriously and take determined and lawful measures in this regard.
