Larijani who is China on the invitation of National People's Congress Chairman Li Zhanshu told reporters on his arrival in Beijing Airport that given the interests between the two countries since the ancient times, dialogues between them can be effective.
He further noted that he discussed a range of issues, including ways for boosting political, cultural, scientific and economic relations.
Larijani arrived in Beijing early on Tuesday and was welcomed by Iran’s Ambassador in Beijing Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh and chairman of China-Iran parliamentary commission.
Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Petroleum Minister Bijan Zangeneh, Finance Minister Farhad Dejpasand and Governor of Central Bank of Iran (CBI) are accompanying Larijani.
During his stay in the country, Larijani is slated to visit President Xi Jinping and National People's Congress Chairman Li Zhanshu.
