Revenge

Iran will definitely take revenge on the terrorists that killed Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) members on Khash-Zahedan Road.

"If Pakistan does not fulfill its duties in fighting terrorism, Iran will fight the terrorist groups organized by regional and extra-regional intelligence services," said Major-General Mohammad-Ali Jafari on the sidelines of the ceremony to commemorate the martyrs of the recent terrorist attack on Saturday.

Suicide attack on a bus carrying the Islamic Republic Guard Corps (IRGC) border security personnel killed 27 and wounded 13 in southeastern Iran on Wednesday. A terrorist group called Jaish al-Adl, affiliated to Al-Qaida, claimed responsibility of the incident.

General Jafari said, 'Attendance of people in the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution and their loyalty to the Revolution disappointed the enemies and made them carry out a suicide attack by their mercenaries and terrorists.'

'The sworn enemies' grudge against the Islamic Revolution shows that Iranian people are on the right track.'

'The recent crime made the IRGC and other Armed Forces more determined to take the path of the martyrs and fight the threats with more authority to guard the borders of the country.'

'We will avenge their blood,' continued the commander adding that Iran will make 'retaliatory measures' against the conspiracies organized and supported by the region's reactionary governments by the order of the US and the Zionists.'

'Inasmuch as the Government of Pakistan knows the location of these elements that are dangerous to Islam and should be accountable for the crimes the terrorist have committed, it is expected that they do their duty with seriousness and not allow the terrorists to use their border areas to organize anti-security moves against Iran.'

General Jafari added that as President Hassan Rouhani said the situation has changed and Pakistan should change its behavior with these anti-Revolution elements.

'If Pakistan doesn’t do its duties in this regard, Iran, based on the international laws, has the right to counter the adjacent threats in the neighboring countries and will punish the terrorists that are the mercenaries of regional and extra regional intelligence services.'
