Khazaee said on Tuesday that social security has no restrictions on the insurance of foreign and Iranian foreign workers and people in the form of various jobs can be covered by social security insurance.
“There is no difference between foreign and Iranian citizens in the country in terms of social security services,” he said, saying that foreigners are entitled to social security and social security obligations.
Foreigners are subject to compulsory insurance by having a work permit or work card at the workshops under the Social Security Act, and employers are required to submit their list and pay related insurance premiums.
Khazaee also said about Iranians abroad, “Given the fact that there are more than 3,500,000 Iranians living outside the country, we are trying to set up a brokerage firm in 21 countries to insure these countrymen.”
